  1. you need to calm yourself. It sounds promising, but if you don't get it, try again. Have confidance in yourself. Its not like your on trial. You need to realize that people are strong willed and when they want something bad enough the survivor instinct kicks in and you'll get the job done. Good Luck.

  2. If you get called back for a second interview that's a good sign, meaning you passed the first cut. They may offer you the job at that point if they think you're the right person or they may contact you later with a yes or no. Be prepared to discuss duties, hours, pay, availability. It's okay to be nervous at an interview- everyone is. Good luck!

  3. Go to a job site like Monster and read the interview questions, so you know what they might ask and practice interviewing.

If they have scheduled a 2nd interview it is a good sign, but you MUST RELAX.

  4. From what I have read, most likely you did pretty good. Best of Luck to you. By the way save 15% or your check for a rainy day!!!!

  5. Getting a second interview most likely means the 1st person who interviewed you was impressed and wants to hire you, but lacks the authority to make the final decision. It's a good thing, dress for the job, be confident, and good luck.

  6. The methods for hiring depends on the company.  I personally have never worked for JCPenny.  Usually when you get a second interview, that is a good sign.  It shows that you where competent enough to deserve it.  On the second interview, if you don't know the answer to a question right away simply state: "i need more time for that question."  Remember that if you answer the questions in a way that is sociable, you will stand out more to the managers.  They probably have been doing a lot of interviews and will want something they can remember.  Most jobs will tell you that you will need to come in for an orientation...that means you are really close to getting hired.  The paper work that is done at the interview is usually the final say.  Good luck.

p.s.  go to a website like www.monster.com.  most of the time there will be a section that has really good tips for a wide range of things dealing with jobs.

  7. Don't be nervous.

They would probably tell you on the 2nd interview if you get the job, but not neccesarily.

  8. Sounds promising for you. Be yourself & try to relax. The head person sometimes will ask  "Where you see yourself  5 years from now"? And they sometimres also ask what you see as your weakness? You could say things like you are too soft hearted, or something similar that makes you seem more down to Earth, but not a negative image. Good Luck
