is this true?

this is the story...one of my horses pasture mates has chewed the top area of his tail. it looks like if he has had worms but we had the vet come out to see if that was the case and it was not. so now today i was out there and saw the 1 year old puling out the top hairs on his tail. so i need to grow it out and really fast because of shows. if you dont think i should use that stuff then can you list what you think i should use.
