  1. The Kabbalah was written in part by Babylonian rabbis.  Read that instead.  It's written by the original Hebrews.

  2. Hmm, Kind of a catch-22, since "Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of god."

Maybe it's literal?  You have to hear the word but not read it.  Pity the poor deaf person!

  3. dont believe Them!

    salvation is a free gift

it is given by grace and mercy

however exaltation is based on works and sanctification

  4. Show him the First Amendment.

  5. Your question wasn't worded clearly.  To be honest, people need to save themselves.  How can you save yourself and be judged favorably by God when your day comes?  The answer is by living a good life.  Morality and ethics matter a lot more than scripture.

  6. To be "saved" a person would respond to the Spirit of God as He guides him into the knowledge of what Christ Jesus has done for him.

    There are no other rules.

  7. John the Baptist, if you learn something about Judaism, you'll find it beautiful & that we get a lot our of reading the original hebrew bible -- which by the way is not your OT.

Obviously the holy spirit isn't with you, or you'd be more loving of us.  To learn more on Judaism (and I'm always stunned at how little & how incorrect so many christians' knowledge is)...try http://www.jewfaq.org

What we get out of our bible -- to your surprise when you learn about it -- is YOUR morality that you claim for Jesus.  Treat your neighbor as you'd like to be treated was our invention.  (Deuteronomy, & Hillel in the Talmud before Jesus was born.)

Bluefoot - we both know what you should do :).  Smile, nod, & and know what you already have...

  8. That "someone" is incorrect,  There is more than just reading something that is required to received salvation.

Here is one thing in particular:

5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

    John 3:5

  9. This is what was said:

"Do you have an original Hebrew Bible? You would need to get saved and have the Holy Spirit as a witness in your life in order to interpret these things. Get with it."

You can READ a textbook on nuclear physics;  that's not going to get you a degree....

READING the Bible without the guidance of the Holy Spirit isn't going to get you anywhere...not that you care, do you?

    1Co 1:27  but God chose the foolish things of the world, that he might put to shame them that are wise; and God chose the weak things of the world, that he might put to shame the things that are strong;
