My neighbor parked his car behind my new car. He parked so close his car was actually touching the bumper of my car. I moved my car and I noticed a small scratch and some paint from his car was left on my bumper. The paint came off. I've told him already and he apologize. What should I do?

  1. You file an insurance claim and they'll take care of it. Hopefully you have insurance.

  2. Nothing. Stop being so anal - its a car and it's going to a ding here and there. Go to your dealer and get some touch-up paint.

Insurance won't do anything because the repair will be far less than your deductable. Insurance is for damage - not a scratch.

  3. Make a claim to your car insurance company, and pay a visit to the body shop.

dude, don't sue him, the paint is off, and he said sorry.

  4. Call the police and make a report.  Also call your insurance.  They will get it fixed for you.
