i don't know why? and i don't know who is just tell me this:

Dear Friend,

I know that this message will come to you as a surprise. I am the Auditing and Accounting section manager with African Development Bank, Ouagadougou Burkina faso. I Hope that you will not expose or betray this trust and confident that I am about to repose on you for the mutual benefit of our both families.

I need your urgent assistance in transferring the sum of ($39.5)million to your account within 10 or 14 banking days. This money has been dormant for years in our Bank without claim.I want the bank to release the money to you as the nearest person to our deceased customer late Mr.George Small who died along with his supposed next of kin in an air crash since October 31st 1999.

I don't want the money to go into government treasury as an abandoned fund. So this is the reason why I am contacting you so that the bank can release the money to you as the next of kin to the deceased customer. Please I would like you to keep this proposal as a top secret and delete it if you are not interested.

Upon receipt of your reply, I will give you full details on how the business will be executed and also note that you will have 30% of the above mentioned sum if you agree to handle this business with me.

I am expecting your urgent response as soon as you receive my message.

Best Regard.

MR. Amed Dogado

  1. Reported on news SCAM!!!!!

Someone with that kind of money believe me does not need to do that.  Absurd!!!!!!

  2. Spam it!

  3. This is what is called "Phishing", or a scam.

Please ignore it at all costs, mark it as spam in your mail server.

Don't ever answer any mails, like this, or from anyone you don't know.

That way you will be safe, and not get conned into something

    that just isn't true.

  4. It's a scam...I saw this on 60 Minutes one time.

  5. Ignore that letter. It's probably a scam or a hoax.

If it was on email, delete it.

  6. This is a very common scam designed to access your bank account. Often called "Nigerian Letter Scams" you can google for more information. Do not respond and block the address from your email account.

  7. It's a scam.  You give them your account number, and they drain your bank account dry.  Take the letter and the envelope to the nearest police station.

  8. It's not real, this is not how they would get ahold of you if this much money was involved.

  9. Don't do it. This is a well known scam.

  10. DON'T DO IT!..........scam all the way. I get about 5 or 6 of those d**n things a day

  11. this is a big scam I get e-mails like that all the time they want your money

  12. Yeah, that would be a scam. People don't just do that. It's a scam. Ignore it. Throw it away. DON'T give in. Most likely what will happen is they'll want your bank account number to "transfer the funds," but really all they will do is run off with your money, and you'll never see the millions they promised in the letter. Sorry, hun.

  13. It's a scam! Don't give them anything. I saw something like this on dateline and people gave the scammers money or credit card number and the people would buy stuff with it. You should take it to the authorites so nobody looses any money.

  14. He lies, this is illegal, and its a scam. As a matter of fact its the nigerian scam look it up.

  15. it,s a SCAM

do not call or answer the letter

  16. Look this one up on www.snopes.com - it's a total scam to get your bank account info.  They'll then very happily drain your account for you.
