Someone should step in and help Ed McMahon with his money problems. Don`t you think?

He and Johny Carson were the reason a lot of people became famous , I think some of these people should help him now in his time of need

I sort of agree with you, but I'm assuming he was paid for all of his appearances on The Tonight Show and his TV endorsements, so I don't understand why he wasn't paying his mortgage.  He is a TV icon, though, so it's sad to see this happening, especially to someone who's older.
