I was at an amusement park with friends today and I hid my wallet right before a ride under my friends backpack in a cubby by the ride. I came back and my friend took out his backpack with no wallet to be seen. The wallet contained a $50 gift card to Aéropostale, contact information, and working papers with contained my F-CKING SSN. I am 14 years old and I was wondering what to do. This guy is going to have a mauled face and

no ballsack if I find him.

  1. immediatly contact the social security office in your neighborhood and police

  2. CONTACT THE THREE MAJOR CREDIT BUREAUS.  Even though you are 14, someone can still use the SSN and begin opening credit cards, etc. with your SSN and a different birthdate.  You'll need to contact, Experian, Transunion and Equifax.  Tell them your SSN was stolen and they will place a note on your record that anytime someone tries to establish credit using your SSN, they MUST investigate.  I'd forget about the $50 gift card..... if they start ruining your credit, you'll be paying for it for years to come!

  3. your in big trouble...call the ss office and see about getting a new number ...do you not know this is the most important thing you need to protect?? memorize it..and never leave your wallet anywhere..its not like a cell phone where you can just get a new one..you could be setting yourself up for years and years of identity theft..I wish you the best of luck you will need it..

  4. You need to report it stolen  to the cops and contact the Social Security.  They can put a trace on your SSN and if something comes up they will target the thief if they try to open something in your name.

Hold your wallet next time. There's shady people everywhere.
