and then they charged her $500 dollars worth of stuff to her card. in the end, she resolved the situation and got her money back, but now, she's super paranoid about putting her credit and debit info on the internet. and now that i have a new ipod touch, i need to make an account. im just putting stuff i had from cds on my ipod, but to get applications, even though they're free, i still need to have an account. my mom says that its her information, and that she doesnt want to "risk it." she says that once i have my own credit card, i can do it, but im only 15! i tried to show her all the information on how secure itunes is, but shes still not convinced. what can i do?? im not going to buy anything, and they're not gonna send her anything either. i just need to have an account to get applications on it. please help! what should i tell her?

  1. At 15 you can sign up for a checking account at your bank, then have them issue you are debit card with visa or mastercard logo on it.

Your mom will have to co-sign but the credit limit is the account balance so if you only kept like 25 dollars in the account that would be the most someone could take.

  2. Just get a pre-paid card with credit and on-line capability.

    Try this website www.vanillamastercard.com

  3. Well Yeah , I dont blame her .

About 3 Months Ago someone stole my Credit Card ID Online as well .

    So It's really risky .

Now I know The Whole " Problem " Thing That U Need to get access to the account  , But U can Wait Few Weeks TILL ur mom KINDA FORGET What really happened

( Not Forget But Be More flexible { U Know What I Mean } )

and then try to ask her again .

    {{ Sorry I Know I didnt help But That's the Best That I could come up w/ }} .

Oh Wait , What About Ur dad Why Dont U take his Credit card ?

Anyways Glad to see u back again .

    Ciao

  4. well I mean of course you can do as the two above me said or you can try calling your Apple customer service (they are affiliated w/ Itunes) and you can tell them to explain to her how their security process works and how they do not store any personal information on their servers either but rather to the bots or actual representatives behind the computer, I'm sure they will be more than happy to do so because they really do want customers so yeah that would be the best thing to do.
