  1. Depends how badly you damage it when you drop it.

I've had bikes go down and apart from a few scratches haven't noticed anything different.

  2. No bikes are unstable (2 wheels) and so are built to withstand knocks and drops. They are not made of glass (excecpt the cheap chinese ones). I fell off my bike all it cost me was £4 for a new clutch lever. Somehow there was no damage to the fairing. No difference what so ever to the handling of the bike. Have fun and Burn Rubber!

  3. not entirely true, unless frame damage is done, It all depends upon how hard you drop it.

I high sided one of my bikes going around 30, Just bent the drectionals and headlight, scratched some paint, but it rides like it did before......

  4. depends on what damage it had.  i've seen bikes laid down at the quarter mile and no damage but paint.

  5. I would depend on if you damage it and that can be fixed in most cases.  I would recommend crashguards; they can prevent some damage in some drops and light crashes.

I've dropped a bike without crashbars and broke just a turn signal indicator which is an easy fix.  I've bought crashbars for my new ride and haven't dropped it since (I call them good luck bars).

    Happy riding to you!

  6. it depends on how hard you drop it

  7. If you mean drop as in dropping the bike at a stop or very low speed, that shouldn't cause enough damage to affect handling unless you bent the bars and/or tweaked the forks, both of which are easy repairs.

  8. nope

  9. Man, I hope not.

  10. I HOPE NOT 'CAUSE I'VE GONE DOWN A FEW TIMES...LOL. NO, AS EVERYONE IS SAYING, IT JUST DEPENDS ON HOW HARD THE BIKE IS DROPPED AND WHAT SIDE IT'S DROPPED ON.

  11. It's not true. If you simply drop the bike while it's not moving, you may just scratch it up a little. Now if you're moving and have to lay it down, it will more than likely be damaged to the point were something is 'just not right'. My first bike I dropped on numerous occasions and it still ran the same.
