How could I find out if this were true or not? All I know is that my wife, myself, and friends of ours are always sick since we've moved here. Would the EPA cover it up?

  1. Talk with your local DEQ (Dept. Of Environmental Quality) office..assuming you are USA. I phoned them once when we had a neighbor dumping stuff, and they were quick to respond.

  2. You must inform the authorities to  check your area or inspect ther to make sure that there is no hazardous waste

  3. Do a search for your zip code at each of the references database sites.  They will indicate such contamination in your area.  EPA would not cover up knowledge of such sites.  People may disagree on techniques, but not that the sites exist.  You could also contact a local environmental company to do a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment on your property.  These vary in price depending on complexity
