No. I would get them into hospice and medical care. They are very focused on providing pain control, even to the point of keeping the person unconscious, if that is the only way to relieve the pain. They will die peacefully and in a proper and legal environment. This is true for patients who do not have a lot of funds as well, so it is possible for most people.

Yes, I think I would. I'd give him a large dose of cyanide, or I'd smother him. Regardless of the consequences, it would be my human responsibility to put him out of pain. I'd do it for a stranger.

NO, but simply because it is illegal for me to do this. If it were LEGAL, then, YES, I would help in that manner if asked AND I believed death was imminent AND there was great suffering involved. We do not let dogs suffer in this manner and put people in JAIL for animal cruelty if they DO let a dog suffer, so why is it we force people to? Again, the ONLY reason I would do nothing is, the LAW.

i can't stand to see a close friend in pain. i'll do whatever it takes... and i'll do whatever she wants me to do..

i do agree with euthanasia .. it doesn't mean i'm selfish and i'm just trying to ease my own self.. i just can't stand seeing someone in such pain if they are in a terminal situation.. i wouldn't make it my call to do what i want to do.. but if the person wants to rest, i won't take that away from her..

How can someone be paralyzed AND feel pain? I thought you paralyzed limbs were numb.

i cant but man oh man would i want to, its just so inhumane and that person knows that they are putting you in a tough spot but they are in such despair it just seems wrong not too...but you just cant
