Someone who knows cars, specifically PT Cruisers or Chrysler brand cars. Simple question for you.

My car makes noise under the passenger side, to be exact, under the glove compartment (in that general area), it made a loud booming roar when I tried to start it and then it wouldn't start all the way. What is wrong with this car. Yes, it is very old but only 60,000 miles.

Could be several things from your description, my guess would be starter related...see a mechanic.
