About 24 days ago, I had s*x durring my second day of my period, and it was my first month on birth control,[first placebo week] so i took extra caution and used my plan b pill, ive had neg. preg. tests, and today was my last active pill, and about 6pm i used a cotton swab to see if i started after all my cramping, and it had blood on it, and its very light, and then it kind of stopped, but still has a little blood on tampon [very very little] and my period is not due for four days..so is my period starting or what? i took a test this morning and it was negative, and 24 days after my doctor said it should show up pos. by now.

  1. have more s*x and take more tests

    enjoy!!

  2. I'm on Kariva (a very strong pill) and I don't generally see my period until the 3rd-4th day of my placebos.  You are probably fine - you've had a multitude of negative pregnancy tests and have a light flow already.  You should be fine.  A weird, but true, tip from my experiences, have an o****m - orgasms generally help me start a heavier flow - weird (and no scientific reason for this to happen) but true.  Also, since he didn't *** in you, the odds of pregnancy from pre-*** are pretty low already, with the pill, Plan B, multiple negative tests, and a light flow, I would put every penny I have on you not being pregnant.

Also, thanks for the information about why you chose Plan B, its misuse is a personal hatred of mine because it gives those people that dislike abortions and birth control fodder for taking these rights away from us.

  3. on your first month of BC its totally normal not to have normal periods, its just ur body getting use to the pill, I'm on the pill and had the same issue and i talked to my doc and she told me there was nothing to worry about and that it as normal.
