  1. I'm no expert, but I think the biggest difference is frequency. A new report would be a regular reporter's article. A feature would be written by a guest writer, and editorials and columns are have the same author focusing on similar themes each week/day.

  2. News reports  are collected on the spot , feature articles are specialize in a particular subject that crops up and is being discussed by people, And the column in a news paper is a given space given to a person where he write about topics every day,

  3. News- the stuff that goes on. someone getting shot, a fire, a presidential candidate coming to visit, new traffic lights, whatever it may be that is news. a feature is more personal and is usually more clever in the way it is written. features are like your fluff pieces in the news, like a 90 year old man who still plays the piano in a bar he got married in or crazy stuff like that. news is basically hard and objective, and features are more people oriented. editorials are opinion pieces from the editorial staff on various issues and subjects. a good editorial may stir up some controversy, an editor for example could write about how a university needs to cut spending or something like that. a column is usually more fun than an editorial and is done on a certain basis and usually has a devoted readership.

thats a quick run down, but i hope you get the jist of it.
