Despite failing to win the final on three consecutive occasions in past three years, Peter Trego has rated Somerset as the best T20 team in county cricket.
The all rounder believes the strength and depth of the squad gives the county an advantage ahead of this year’s Flt20 finals day on August 25, at Sofia Gardens.
With the likes of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Jos-Buttler-c1733 in the side and in good form as well, Trego believes the county are in good stead to reach yet another final in their history.
"We play our cricket with a high intensity in all formats of the game," he added.
"We're a fit, hard-working group of cricketers so I think we'll just continue to do the same things.

About their victory, Trego said, "It confirms we're at the top of the ladder in terms of who is the best Twenty20 team in the country. It's now about making the final step."
Despite playing the T20 final on four occasions, the Taunton based club has won the title only once, in 2005, when they defeated http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Lancashire-c806.
They lost the title to Leicestershire in 2011 by 18 runs. Batting first http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Leicestershire-c807 posted a total of 145-6 and in reply Somerset could just manage 127. With 35 runs, Trego was the joint highest run scorer along with Leicestershire’s Jefferson.

"Losing finals is a problem," Trego admits. "It's a great achievement getting there but we want to get over the line."
"There's no fear in our group. It's about having a bit of luck on the day and hopefully we'll do it."
