Marcus Trescothick’s brilliance guided Somerset on top against Durham in a match of the County Championship Division One, at the County Ground, Taunton in England on Thursday, July 21, 2011.
The hosts ended day-one of the four-day game at 409 runs for the loss of seven wickets. The highlight of the day was a spectacular century from skipper Trescothick, who collected 163 runs before being dismissed.
