Nottinghamshire had to chase down 163 runs in 19 overs against Somerset in a rain affected match of the Clydesdale Bank 40 at the County Ground, Taunton in England on Monday, August 15, 2011.
The hosts’ innings was closed at 156/6 in 19.2 overs, but the target was revised according to the Duckworth/Lewis (D/L) method.
This was still not the final target, as rain once again stopped play after only one over was bowled in the Nottinghamshire innings. The team had to score 143 runs off 16 overs after the play once again resumed.
Although it seemed a challenging target, the visitors managed to reach it in the end, losing seven batsmen. The top scorer of the innings was opening batsman http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Steven-Mullaney-c2584, who ended up with 50 runs. His score was also the highest of the match, as no other
player managed to reach a half-century.

tricks after a first couple of overs.

The stylish opener ended up with exactly 50 runs off 30 balls, clobbering five fours and three thunderous sixes. He was unfortunate, getting run-out after an impressive performance.
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Scott-Liam-Elstone-c89038 failed to make an impression, getting out after managing just 5 runs in his short outing, leaving the Nottinghamshire team in a spot of bother at 97/5.
