Somerset won their Friends Life T20 match against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Warwickshire-c862 by 63 runs on Wednesday, at County Ground, Taunton after bolstering a total of 191 runs for the loss of six wickets while batting first in the T20 match.
Warwickshire after winning the toss chose to field first in a bid to restrict the opposition on a small total, and the bowlers did considerably well as the prevented Somerset from reaching a tally of 200 runs.
The target was intimidating enough but at the same time not unreachable and all Warwickshire was a solid batting performance to overcome the required target.
They had a tremendous start to their innings as openers LJ Evans and V Chopra gave staggered an opening stand of 40 runs to leave the opposition flabbergasted.
The two batsmen launched a barrage some heavy hitting which wrecked havoc on the bowling side and it was evident for Somerset that for them to win the match, they needed to break the partnership which was seemingly heading towards the finish line.
