Something's wrong with my car speaker, making a f**t noise when there's a bassy beat. Help!

One of my two speakers in my car is making a noise a bit like a f**t every time a bassy beat plays.

Any ideas?

It's blown. Not repairable, you will need to have the speaker(s) replaced.

its blown up so more than likely not able to work anymore. I'd just get a new one if I were you.

You've blown your speaker - which happens when you over-amplify the signal going into it. In other words, you've been playing your music too loud!!

If it's an expensive speaker it may be possible to have it re-coned, but it may be cheaper to replace it.

Perhaps play your music less vigorously in future. Speakers (not unlike old farts like me) can only take so much abuse before they blow!!
