  1. The SD card will do absolutely nothing to his games. For the Wii an SD is used simply as extra storage space. Nintendo wouldn't have put in an SD slot if it would corrupt everything.

  2. sd cards do nothing to corrupt saved games i dont even think u can save games on it but if he really doesn't want to do it just put the sd card into his camera plug his camera up to the computer and have him email it to u

  3. SD Cards do nothing to saved games, and you can even use them as an external memory card to have extra storage for games! An SD card is harmless to your Wii.

  4. Well, if they were harmful to the Wii, Nintendo wouldn't have put a card slot on the console. No, it will be fine.

  5. Your friend doesn't need to worry. The SD card will *not* corrupt his savegames.

The Wii was specifically made to use a SD card.

You can put in a SD card with photos and videos to view them in the photo channel, or copy Virtual Console games and savegames *to* the SD card so they don't take up space in the Wii's internal memory.

All this is completely safe and will not corrupt your friends savegames.
