Something about Saddam Hussein??

Question

I've been reading alot about Saddam; opinions on him from the 90's and posthumous articles both in favour and against the former President. Now that he has been dead for quite sometime, I wonder if anyone still has anything good to say about him? Or anything interesting to say about him?

I love him only becouse.... he hold Holy Qur'an with him.... on the occassion of death.

Allah knows better of each soul. Each soul gets what it has earned in this world. I am not to judge anyone died upon  La ilaha-illa Allah'. All of us would be there on the judgment day.

"He whose last words (in life) were ' La ilaha-illa Allah', None has the right to be worshipped but Allah shall enter Paradise” [Abu Dawud narration (3116), Al-Hakim (1/351) and regarded it authentic hadith and At-Thahabi agreed with him].

“Speak of the good things of those of you who have died and refrain from speaking ill of them” (Hadith).

The only good that i find in saddam was that he protected minority religious groups such as christians, Baha's, jews  and Alawites of iraq from been murdered by iraqi muslims

now that sadam is gone these minority religious groups in iraq are been hunted down and murdered by muslim gangs

Iraq flourished under Saddam, making it the most advanced country in the Middle East.

Iran is satisfied. Iraq is destroyed. Baghdad the "City of Knowledge" is lost.

May Allah save Iraq, and have Mercy on Saddam.

He is dead now and all the other presidents who have committed war crimes deserve the same punishment that he got.

I can not find anything good to say about a man thay made his own people live in fear and poverty. If he felt he was looked at wrong he would kill them. The Quran says for a leader to lead his country the right way. Also it says an eye for an eye so Allah alim..
