The best thing ive EVER done in Sydney is (its at the harbour) you need to book but there is so many rides per/day was the 'thunderjet'.  It can go for a 45 min ride or for roughly 200 bux you and a mate can go under the harbour bridge, to luna park for the day, go for a 20 min spin and come back.

go to the park opposite the sydney opera house. great weather, and they sell ice cream there! yay!~~ also visit the sydney tower. theres a great 3d show in there and also go to blue mountain if you don't mind a short drive.

Support the Sydney Swans and go and watch them every week.

Sailing along the harbour, have a picnic, eat fish and chips, go fishing, swimming at the beach, surfing, windsurfing, always plenty of things to do!!!

Even if I'm too late: Taronga Zoo, start at top, enjoy the fabulous view onto the Opera House, say hello to the koalas, walk down, take the ferry back to Sidney harbour. Wish I could be there! :-(
