I had a whirlwind tour of Edinburgh recently, and I remember one particular place is said to glow red when certain people die, but I can remember what place or what people. Does anybody have any idea what I might be talking about?

  1. No. You've stumped me with that- I'd love to hear an answer that expains this.

Some key buildings including the Castle were lit up pink for the chaity moonwalk a week ago, but that's as close as I know of.

  2. ive never heard of that one,th eonly place that glows"red"in the sun, from good vantage point is the rocks on arthurs seat(salisbury crags)they look reddish in certain lights, you may be thinking of one of these ghost tour things, theres many legends and stuff to do with old town and edinburgh in general, but that one is one i have not heard of,i thought i knew most of them too!

  3. I am Edinburgh born & bred & have never heard of anything like that.
