Something good to eat for lunch when you are sick at home?

I am sick today, and i'm home alone. I'm 14 year old. im gettin hungry, and im tired of just junk food. What is something that tastes good, that is good for you? Actually, forget healthy, ill eat an apple later. lol. Please include how to make it, too. I'm looking for something simple that you dont have to use the oven for, the stove is fine, though. Thanks :)

  1. Hmm..You sick today and wanna eat something good?.. don't worry!!!

    there are lots of options available:-

    1.plain rice and curd (rice are easier/faster to make--> you can put one cup of rice and 2 cups of water ans salt to taste in a bowl and then put that bowl in microwave for 7-8 minutes.

    2.Milk and bread. ( no need to cook any thing)

    3. Spanish & rice ( green vegetables arr very good for health)

    Preperation method for spanish -->

    1. Chopp the spanish and then boil it in microvave or steam.

    2. In a pan , put 1 tblspoon of oil and then put this boiled spanish ( filter the spanish before putting it into pan ) then after 2 mins add some salt to taste and tomato puree of one tomato and some black papper.cook it for 8-10 mins and then eat this spanish with rice...It will taste good and you will feel good too.

    These are all vegetarian food items , as i am a vegetarian.So i can only tell you about vegetables and all...I hope this will help you a lot.

  2. MICROWAVE PIZZA:

    Slice of Bread, spread spaghetti sauce on it, sprinkle any kind of these cheeses: Monterrey Jack, Mozzarella, Gouda.

    Then top it with little squares of either ham, bolony or turkey frank slices...i'm sure you have most if these items at home.

    Then put it in the microwave at high until you see the cheese melts...

    If you have white flour tortillas around you can make pizza quesadilla using the same ingredients just changing the bread for a the tortilla, but for this you would need a pan heated then throw the flour tortilla, turn it once it's done on one side then throw the sauce, cheese and ham or whatever, close it and turn it some other 2 times...it'll be crunchy and cheesey.

    Spicy soup

    2 quarts water

    8 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves

    1/2 teaspoon salt

    1 teaspoon ground black pepper

    1 teaspoon garlic powder

    2 tablespoons dried parsley

    1 tablespoon onion powder

    5 cubes chicken bouillon

    3 tablespoons olive oil

    1 onion, chopped

    3 cloves garlic, chopped

    1 (16 ounce) jar chunky salsa

    2 (14.5 ounce) cans peeled and diced tomatoes

    1 (14.5 ounce) can whole peeled tomatoes

    1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed tomato soup

    3 tablespoons chili powder

    1 (15 ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained

    2 (16 ounce) cans chili beans, undrained

    1 (8 ounce) container sour cream



    DIRECTIONS

    In a large pot over medium heat, combine water, chicken, salt, pepper, garlic powder, parsley, onion powder and bouillon cubes. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer 1 hour, or until chicken juices run clear. Remove chicken, reserve broth. Shred chicken.

    In a large pot over medium heat, cook onion and garlic in olive oil until slightly browned. Stir in salsa, diced tomatoes, whole tomatoes, tomato soup, chili powder, corn, chili beans, sour cream, shredded chicken and 5 cups broth. Simmer 30 minutes.

    Quick and easy chili

    Ingredients:

    1 pound ground beef

    1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed tomato soup, undiluted

    1 can (15 ounces) chili beans in gravy, undrained

    2 to 3 teaspoons chili powder

    1/2 cup water, optional

    Directions:

    In a saucepan, brown the ground beef; drain. Add soup, beans and chili powder. Reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Add water if a thinner soup is desired. Yield: 4 servings
