Something happen to my blackmoor! (goldfish)?

Question

I put a diffrent filter for just 3 days and now I put back the old filter so I can use the other and new filter for my pet turtle....anyways.... my brother saw his tail and it was rip. I think the tail got suck into the the filter .

My question is....

Will the tail grow back and will it make him a risk to die?

My brother said he was down on the ground and then it was swimming fine. He seems fine now.

It will grow back,do you have aquarium salt in there?

That will keep any fungus or infection away.

yeah it will grow.. like above add some salt to ensure the scars dont get infected.

If there is any traces of white fungii treat for fin rot. bump the temperature up a degree or two if you got a heater. dont worry otherwise.

Fins grow back. You can add some stress coat to lessen the risk of it getting infected.
