Something happened and now everything on my Windows Vista is abnormally large

I've tried everything. My Windows Vista's background and the internet is wayyy to big, its expanded. The fonts, everything is so large and it wont go back to normal. I've tried pushing ctrl and sizing it with that, but nothing works. Restarting it doesnt do anything either.

That's happened to me before.

Go to Control Panel>Under where it says "Appearance and Personalization, click "Adjust Screen Resolution

right click the desktop.  click personalize.  click display settings.  Move the slider to the right.

Right click your mouse on you desktop, then click properties -> appearence -> font size. Hope this helps. If it doesn't, go back to properties -> settings, then edit your screen resolution

Try right clicking on your desktop away from any icon. Go to properties, then to the settings tab, next change your screen resolution higher, this should reduce the size and be a litter sharper

your resolution may have changed.   Go into properties in your desktop menu and go to appearance and change the res.
