Ok so I slept with my contacts on and I woke up in the morning and took them off. There was some weird stuff in my eyes like that stuff that gets on your eyelashes when you wake up in the morning and you wash it off..so i cleaned it out of my eye but all day my eyes been bugging me. When I pull my upper eyelid up theres this brown dot (sand like) in the white part of my eye and when I try taking it out my eye gets super red. I've only tried taking it out with my the base of my finger very gently. What should I do, this is driving me nuts!!!

Thank you, first time posting!

  1. try putting it under some warm water, that happens to me alot the only thing i can do is use my finger to try and get it out

  2. Ok, don't poke your eye too much for now.

I suggest use some eyewash to wash any stuff out, or just running cool water.

If later on or the next day you find the same stuff in your eye, you could have an infection. Go see your chemist, and tell her your symptoms and they should give you some eyedrops or ointment.

Hope that helped. Sounds like conjunctivitis to me...

Oooh and also don't sleep with your contacts in. :)

  3. Okay... so let's not sleep in our contacts anymore?! LOL Not for you anyhow, I sleep in mine every night... I know I shouldn't, but laaa... that's a whole other story...

Try saline solution in your eye, like, lots -- it'll be messy, and you're going to have to get out whatever it is in your eye... if you can't get it out you should see your optometrist.

    xoxox

  4. youre not supposed to sleep with your contacts in...

  5. there might be protein in your contact.

go to your eye doctor because i have that brown dot in my eye and because of that i have to have a different type of contact.  (something about a astigmatism.)  but go to your eye doctor and they should be able to help you out!

also if you haven't opened you contact box yet you can return it and get a different kind of contact lenses for a discounted price or for free!

    hope that helped

By the way, don't try to scratch that brown dot off!  that's way too much pain for your eyes!

  6. Might be an infection. If you are light sensitive then you do have an infection or getting one. Wash out your eye with water and see if that will happen.

The best thing is to go to your doctor and get some eye drops to make it feel better.

  7. Go see a doctor because that really doesnt sound normal but if you cant try visine-A antihistamine & redness reliever it really does help if you cant get to the doctors right away
