i've looked up droppings online, and it isnt a raccoon, or a squirrel, nor is it birds or rabbits... and i havent seen any tomato worms... the droppings look like they have come out of a cookie press, very uniform, and small, i guess kinda hexigonal, with lines up and down them... wierd huh????

  1. Classic case of tomato horn worm

  2. Sounds like tomato hornworm.  Rapid damage and droppings are the identifiers.  They are quite large and interesting the first time you see one.  They do blend well with the plant.  Also take a close look; they are usually on the onderside of leafstalk.  Hand pick, or cu out leafstalk.

  3. Tomato worms.  Look a little closer you will fine that varmit.

  4. Does sound like tomato horn worm.  They are really big and green and blend into the tomato branch perfectly.  Very ugly and destructive.  They can eat up a plant in no time.  Best thing to do is track them down and dispose of them.  Wear gloves to pick them off or cut off the branch they are on if you can't bear to touch them.
