Something is eating my string bean leaves

It's eating the leaves and making them look just like lace. Also attacking the sunflowers the same way. It just eats the leaf and leaves the veins.

  1. Probably Japanese beetles. They sell traps that work fairly well at any store with garden stuff.

  3. More than likely, bean beetles. Go to the hardward store and buy some dust. There are safe insecticides for beans.  Usually applied in dust form.
