Question:

Something is wrong with my Nintendog!?

When I toss him certain toys (for example, the stuffed dog), he waves his paw when he's in front of it, barks at it and doesn't pick it up. I can tell he's not scared of it because he always stays close to it, as if he wants to pick it up but doesn't know how.

Suggestions please?

Thanks!

  1. maybe he doesn't want to play just take him for a walk and blow bubbles or something

  2. try giving him a bath. my dog did that once. i gave him a bath and after he was fine.

  3. he's scared of it. he might not seem scared because he gets close to it. when he gets close to it, that just means he's working up the nerve to play with it but then sees it as something that might hurt him and he runs away. when he waves his paw and barks at it, he's trying to scare it away.

  4. my dogs do that too sometimes, they just arnt in a playful mood. or they find your toys boring

  5. dog is not interested in the toy.  try another item and walk your dog, feed your dog,  and let it rest for a few hours(maybe days).  then resume where you left off also take you dog to the park and throw a Frisbee (the always seem to love that)

  6. he doesn't like that certain toy give him another one
