Question:

Something is wrong with my Zune..

Does anyone know what to do because it just happened to me when I got home and this morning it was working perfectly fine. I usually leave it in but my mom came home and took out the charger to my computer and I tried to put it back in and it wouldn't charge without saying that. I have two things in USB outlets(I guess you could say) usually. It's usually the wireless receiver and then my Zune charger. I got home and I tried to plug it in, both of the cords hooked up in the back USB outlets. When I plugged it in the wireless receiver stopped working and my Zune wouldn't charge. I tried plugging my Zune into every one of the USB outlets but nothing worked. And then it started saying that there was a power surge on hub port. I've done this before since early July when I first got my Zune and it worked fine and nothing ever came up.

Do any of you know what's wrong and what I could do to make it work again?

  1. It was the power surge on hub port that caught my eye. From what I've read online that is the reason your peripherals-ie the Zune and wireless receiver-aren't working.

This thread might give you some useful info:

I would also suggest checking the computer manufacturer's website and contacting customer support there for any thing they might suggest to fix the problem

You might also do an online search for power surge on hub port for more info. If none of this proves helpful then I suggest contacting whoever usually works on your computers when there are problems.
