a couple of weeks ago i had the strangest thing happen. the first two weeks the cuticle area of my big toe itched. i used the basics. then out of nowhere it swelled and started to really hurt. i popped it to relieve the pressure and to clean it up. this helped. but now the cuticle seperated from the nail and it still itches. i thought maybe a fungal infection but i have treated it for that and it is only one toe. i also researched maybe a spider bite but there is no real evidence of a bite of any kind. i dont have insurance so going to a dr isnt an option just yet. please help

ive used:

neosporin

analgesic cream

anti fungal medication

soaked in epson salt

anti-itch cream

calamine lotion

  1. if you stubbed it, then it could have detatched from the nail bed, in which case, it will grow back later. no worries.

  2. Get a tab of hot water, put some salt in it and stirred it make sure that the salt is resolved. Then you put your feet in the hot water as long as you can.

After that you try your feet and put some medicine that you know the best to kill bacterias and bandage your toe up.

Do this 2 times a day. See what will happen!

  3. ok this is a normal occurrence especially if you where trainers alot

The cuticle will heal but the itching will go away in a few days if you wash your feet and the affected area well with salt water then dry your feet thoroughly the salt water will kill and bacteria under the cuticle make sure your feet are given air as well other wise it will take longer for your toe to heal
