  1. This sounds to me like it could be a respiratory infection. I would take her to the vets as soon as possbile. As guinea pigs are prey animals they tend to not show signs of weakness until they are very ill to avoid getting picked off by predators. Also when a guinea pig is ill they tend to go down hill very quickly.

In the meantime before you can get her to a vet try and syringe some water into her mouth and maybe some mashed up veg or fruit. You need to do this every 2-3 hours if shes not eating or drinking. After a certain amount of hours if a guinea pig hasn't eaten their system begins to break down which is irreversible. Keep her somewhere where she won't get too hot or cold and away from lots of noise. Also if she is housed with other guinea pigs keep her seperate incase its contagious.

The white stuff is probably pee as this is what it looks like when its not in shavings. My advice is to follow these steps and take her to the vets as soon as possible.

  3. Your guinea pig may have a URI, or Upper Respiratory Infection. This is the second most common ailment in guinea pigs, second only to mites. They can be fatal if left untreated, and once she is not wanting to move it's gotten pretty bad. Get her to a reputable exotics vet and have her treated with Baytril or Bactrim. Also, make sure she is given a probiotic as well. My first guinea pig was given Baytril for his URI without a probiotic and ended up passing away from an intolerance to the antibiotic. Good luck!

  4. she might have a cold.sometimes when pets get colds they get that "gunk" wait a few days and if it gets worse take it to a vet

  5. take her to the vet.
