  1. take them to the aspca and surrender them.  it is abuse not to treat a sick animal and it is not normal for a cat to drool for anything.  it sounds to me that they have a problem with their mouths and are skinny from not being able to eat not from worms.  seriously if your mother has any compassion for anything, she will take them either to the vet, or surrender them, either way they need to be treated or they are going to die, and very inhumanely, from what it sounds like.  SHAME ON YOUR MOM for not teaching you that life and compassion is  more important than money.  SHAME!!!!!

  2. Woe, wow you all seem so quick to judge and shame her when she is asking a question ..  First call a vet, explain to them the situation and exactly how the animals are behaving. They will likely suggest that you bring them in, which you should eventually do to get their shots and what not anyways. You may have to consider asking the SPCA (or whatever they are in your area) to at least pick up the two unhealthy ones; speak with your mother maybe you can work out some payment arrangement's with the vet, where in you do extra chores to reimburse your mother, some vets are more then happy to make payment arrangements. Also ask around there are some agencies who are more then willing to offer discount coupons to pay for procedures rather then have more animals put in to shelters. (In NY some local county Social Services have discount incentive's; look into them, but soon. There maybe something you can get at your local pet store that your vet can suggest as well. The point is to ask for assistance and referrals, rather then just give up on them. I wish you the best of luck and hope your Kittens can recover and be healthy.

  3. If you contact a local cat rescue organization[not the human society] and tell them they might can help you with suggestions real cheap. The kittens must be dewormed and have shots or they will have worms and will die.If you just can't care for your cats the rescue people will take them and care for them and find homes for them.Thank-you for being such a caring pet owner.Your cats are lucky to have you!!

  4. Hi

If your Mom cant afford to take them to a vet thats fair enough but please take them to an animal rescue centre and give them to them... They will nurse them back to health and re home them.

Its quite costly having that many cats.. and it does sound like they need treatment else you may lose them and that would be very sad.

Please take them to the rescue centre, You dont even have to tell them they are yours if you dont want to although they would understand if you say you cant afford to treat them and can they have them... or say you found them - just please get them some help.

  5. well then your mother should have got the cat fixed. surrender the kittens to a rescue if you cant afford them.

  6. :O

if you can't afford to keep them (aka take them to the vet when something is wrong) give them to someone who can! These animals deserves something better than possibly dying! Give them to the local humane society, as they will give them health care, food and attention.

Although it may seem cruel to take them there, it is for their benefit. Besides, kittens go fast at humane societies. It really would be best for you to take them there.

it is indeed punishable by law not to take your animals to the vet when they need veterinary care.

  7. Call the vet that way it's free and ask if there's anything you can do and what they think it might be? It's a start!

  8. u need to take them to the vet as soon as possible if it has been going on for 4 months. but first u should try to go to wallmart and get kitty worm relief!!!  i hope that your kittens get well soon:)

  9. If your mother feels she can't afford them, it would have been much more inexpensive to have the cat fixed.  Sorry for being so harsh, but part of being a responsible pet owner is to weigh the options before this happens.

I feel for you as you're an innocent part of this terrible thing.  This is why millions of animals are put to death because ignorant, stupid pet owners don't think of their pet's well being.  It's not an easy thing for any cat to go through labor, so when they do get pregnant, you have vet appointments every two weeks to ensure things are going as they should, and once they're born, another vet appt. to confirm the afterbirth has been expelled and the kittens are healthy, the mom is feeding them well and they're growing fine.  Many different things to take into consideration when your cat gets pregnant.  Lots of times things do not work out.

Tell you mother that the kindest thing to do is get the kittens to a no kill shelter to be rehomed, and get your cat fixed pronto (which she probably won't do), so you might as well take her too to get rehomed, since you'll have kittens over and over again.

Also tell your mother that if she can't be responsible for the animal, don't have any at all.  Sorry dear, like I said, you're the innocent one.

  10. Well done to you for deciding to surrender them. It's not your fault your parents won't pay for them. When you're older you can have your own place and your own pets and take care of them properly.

It may not be worms - first signs of this are a pot belly and diarrhoea. They need to have had lots of worms for a while to be eating frantically - although if they've never been wormed this could be the case.

Do please get your parents to spay the female cat - there are organisations that will do this for free! She must not be allowed to have any more litters.
