Question:

Something strange in England....

I live in Reading, from my windows, last day in the afternoon a big truck came in the car park in the Court where I live.

Soon, an old man came out from the truck and started with a heavy chain to break the glasses of a car parked there.

After breaking the windscreen opened the car door and the bumper and started to destroy everything.

When the owner, after the alarm system went off, asked the reason, the people answered him: sorry, we made a mistake, it is the wrong car!

My question is: is it possible to do a mistake like that?

  1. Yes, it is and it is against the law to damage anyone's property - whether it was the right or wrong car that they were looking for.

I hope the owner called the police.

  2. Sounds very suspicious -  a revenge attack of some kind. Bailiffs would clamp and tow the car away as would any other Authority. People do not just smash up cars like that for no reason. I hope the people whose car it was called the Police.

  3. Probally gang fixers trying to destroy a car of someone that owes them money and accidently found the wrong car.

  4. do you live in Reading?i thought in Italy.

    ciao ciao

  5. anything is possible. The craziness of old English men is highly possible.

  6. ahhh, england in the summertime

  8. I'm confused, sorry :-(

EDIT: just re-read what you wrote, that's not that strange its just England.

  9. Yeah because you might not know wich car this person has, but you kow were they live. a car is parked outside there house so they assume its the person who lives there.
