Something that could symbolise hope... or better days?

im looking to get a tattoo, and was thinking about something for a symbol of hope.. not a chinese one.... something original.. ive heard of a white dove, and an anchor.. can anybody help me with any ideas? also if your going to tell me not to get one, dont bother.

how about flowers? any type of flowers, they symbolize hope/new beginnings to me!

i like yellow sunflowers!

What about a rainbow or a shooting star?  I have a shooting star on my ankle, my thoughts behind that were hoping there were better times ahead.  

Think very carefully tho before you go ahead babe.  A few of mine I really dont like anymore, so really think carefully & research places in your area to have it done, go in & talk to the tattoo artist, ask for some opinions!
