Something weird is going on?

so for about the past month or so i have been feeling HORRIBLE..turns out i had a cyst on my ovary and it burst...OUCH...but something weird happened when i was at the hospital...doc came in and told me they were stopping all tests because i was pregnant. i guess they did 2 tests one was positive and one was negative...then did a blood test and said im not...

i have been pregnant before and miscarried so i have read a lot of stories...how can someone get a positive pee test and a negative blood test...at the hospital none the less.

i just went for blood work today so i will know more by mid week but i am really perturbed and confused...i NEVER heard of that happening ever.

any answers?

I get ovarian cysts also they hurt like h**l. i can get a negative pee test and positive blood test not sure why though. they said could be cause i had a tubal pregnancy before. ok here is my other thought had they said it might be a tubal pregnancy . i say this because they are Very painful like the cysts and give you a false result . maybe ask for an ultra sound just to be safe

i've heard of 'false' positive

the urine pregnancy test, checks for a special hormone that is normally only in the body during pregnancy

but sometimes at other times (not hugely common)

so the blood test is your back up definitive answer
