Something wrong with my CANON ZR70 CAMCORDER!! PLEASE HELP Me!!?

ok i finally found the charger for my camcorder!! but, somethings wrong with the camcorder itself. when i try to take a picture or video, i cant see anything thought the eye scope or on the screen. i cant see it while recording or reviewing. its all black. i do not remember where we got it because it was a long itme ago (more than 4 years) PLEASE HELP!!

that's crazy...... my ZR90 just did the same thing to me! I took care of that thing like it was an infant over the 3 years I've had it, and one day I turn it on and the lens is fried. the viewfinder works when I use the playback feature, but the lens acts like it's blind when I try to record anything new. sucks huh? I'm also going to check out that link the the person above me posted. good luck!
