Something you'd like to tell me?

Question

I just need to tell someone some stuff...you don't have to even know me (in fact you don't. I'm a regular, but decided to ask this from a backup account). If you have an AIM account, that would be great.

I'm asking this here because everybody is very supportive and I'm a L*****n so I can! LOL

So, is there anything that you'd like to get off your chest? Total strangers make the best people to tell secrets to, in my opinion.

Yes...I have to tell this someone.

I'm feeling very bad and helpless.

I own 6 hamsters, and I love them all.

They were all born in my room, and I raised them ever since.

They are my children.

But now, 3 of them has caught a killer Disease, known as "Wet Tail".

It is a common disease among small rodents.

My 3 hamsters are severely dehydrated and are suffering from diarrhea.

I have given them food and water, but they don't want to drink.

Even worse, I have to keep them outside, in the balcony...because if I keep them inside, my other 3 hamsters will get the disease...Wet Tail is highly contagious.

I went to the vets, but the Vet has gone away to Romania (our vet is Romanian) and unfortunately, he is the only one who runs the only veterinary clinic in my city.

I feel ashamed for keeping my babies outside and leaving them to die....I want to help, but I can't.

I've never felt so helpless in my life before.

It feels as though everyone around us has been getting the news that they're pregnant. We've been to two baby showers within the last month alone, and that has been difficult for both of us.

Although I'm happy for our friends/family, I can't help but wonder if it will ever happen for the two of us. It's been a rollercoaster of emotions.

I hope you're able to work through whatever is on your mind, as well.

You're so right. A problem shared is a problem halved, but if you share a secret with someone you know it immediately changes your relationship with that person forever, so it's better to talk to a stranger. That's why organisations like Samaritans are so good for people who are suicidal - they are completely anonymous.
