No more was ever said about this on the news. Did anyone else hear this story or know if it was true?

  1. I remember that story, but you have it slightly wrong.

The tale was that they found an almost perfectly frozen one, and were hoping to "make" a new one using dna cloning techniques from cells that they "defrost".

    I think it proved impossible.

Here is an updated link on a similar story.

  2. Yes, it's true.

    It was Shambo.

The dim moo thought that if he dressed as a mammoth, he'd be inconspicuous.

    He was wrong!

  3. rubbish someone was having a laugh with you

  4. No . You mustave heard wrong. What they have found is a frozen whole one.

  5. Was the date April 1st?

  6. sorry incorrect.

  7. Yes, I could not believe it but it's true!

  8. I never heard that. But I do keep an "ear to the rail" on these things. Several mamoths have been found in Siberia and other northern latitudes. A couple have been uncovered in an excellent state of preservation. But no mamoths are currently living.

  9. No it was frozen they were going to try and bring it back to life through cloning or thawing. It hasn't panned out, because they were high. Very very high. That's a good reason not to take drugs! They actually ruined that specimen! The idiots!
