Sometimes I have chest pains...?

Very rarely but still once in a while a stabbing sort of pain on the upper left side of my body (chest area) and it hurts to breathe. What is going on? I was told I had a heart murmur when i was born but when I went to the doctor a couple of years ago they said it was gone,,,

  3. it could be anything form strained muscles to blocked artery to cystic fibrosis (ok so probably not) but still go see a doctor

  4. I too have had horrible pains in my left chest area, tightness under the breast area and aching left arm. Also had what feels like something stuck in my throat and occassionally a thumping heart beat.

    Freaked me out but as it turns out, it's all due to trapped nerves in my stupid neck which has vertebrae out of place!

  5. your doctor can send you to have some cardiac tests and you will know exactly if there is any problem and your doc can take care of that

  7. Heart murmurs often go away as in your case. What you describe does not sound like heart pain, but you should have this checked out by a doctor. It sounds more like a muscle or lung pain, or maybe a the beginning of a respiratory infection. A doctor can ease your mind and give you medicine to heal and stop the pain.
