You're talking about Depo-Provera, right? I would ask your healthcare provider about the stomach pains, but it is a normal (and rather pleasant!) side effect to stop menstruating when you're on Depo-Provera. You may spot a little or have irregular bleeding, but for many women they simply stop having periods. There's no danger in not getting a period because the walls of the uterus don't thicken enough to necessitate the monthly shedding that occurs during menstruation.

the stomach pains could be a side effect of your body adjusting to the the shot, and not having your period is great in my opinion, if you "feel" as if something could be wrong, go get checked, but i think its normal. i'm no dr though....
