  1. sounds like a typical married couple. LOL  I have had keets but never any problem so far as really hurting each other. I can't be sure in your case, but when you purchase them they always have many together.

  2. birds seem to do this in a new home just let them adapt they might stop they might not if they take action get another cage and move the other into it you dont want a dead bird!Or they are probally mating.just remeber to give them atleast and hour with you a day and plenty of toys and they be happy birds , good luck

  3. Because they are of the opposite s*x, it's not a territorial issue, usually it is due to playing too rough. kind of like brothers do, they play and sometimes it gets a little out of hand.  It's not that they are trying to hurt each other, they just get a little rough.

  4. Sounds like you have got yourself a pair of either peached face or masked lovebirds. These birds are very territorial but at the same time can be quite affectionate to one another.

  5. Parrots have dynamic social flock antics, and that is what is being displayed, here.  My pair love eachother greatly, but there are times when it gets so bad that I have to seperate cages & send them to marriage counseling.

  6. i also have that problem with my parakeet i wanted to separate them but when i saw them preening each other i would say oh no they are ok. they finally ended having babies, but maybe if ur fights start getting more aggressive i would change them right away, but if they keep like u say they are doing maybe it typical like us the humans sometimes we fight and sometimes we love each other
