Sometimes on my cordless phone there is a short dial tone, then clicking.?

After the clicking, I will get the message "We're sorry, the number cannot be connected as dialed. Please hangup and dial again." even though I have not dialed any number. I also lose my DSL connections. This happens randomly on windy wet nights. By morning the issue is resolved. My phones are cordless. I have two bases and two handsets. This has happened 3 times in the last 7 months. My phone company said they can't help unless I am having the problem when they come out. They won't come out late at night when the weather is awful. We live in a new house and I wonder if something isn't wrong with the way these lines were installed. My satellite dish works, but I can't use pay per view during these times. My husbands shop phone -our old phone-is also out. The shop is not connected to the house. My wall phone does not work either. The neighbors do not have this problem and they have the same telephone company. Any ideas?

Unplug the corless phones and plug a normal phone and see what happens, also connect filters on your lines for the Dsl if you have not connected one.

call your service proviser and place a report as isw repair(inside wiring repair).

this might be cos of the wet weather .
