It's usually later at night, when less people are listening. The person will sometimes call in, or other times the DJ will just say who the song is from and who it's dedicated to. I have no idea how to do this and would really like to ASAP so, I'll take any suggestions. Especially from someone who has done this before. Thanks

  1. Sure - easy. Go to the station website or make note of their request number. Call it. Turn the volume on your radio down (to prevent feedback in case you're live)!

Tell them you'd like to dedicate a song if they allow that. Give them the name of the person and the song.

Do some homework. Make sure the station plays the song you want. It also helps to have listened to the station enough to know they take dedications. One more hint: write down the song and name - you'd be surprised how nervous you might get when you relaise you're being taped or are on live (even with a 7-second delay).

Turn the volume back up so you can hear yourself ;<)
