Sometimes wen i try 2 record w/ my camera black streeks go up the screen and it ruins the shot. why?

All the asnwers above pretty much cover it, if you are trying to record something on the tv or computer with the camera, that will happen because of the refresh time. Televisions and computer monitors have a refresh time and you will see lines and a messed up picture if you are trying to record this with your camera

DERE SOMETHING WRONG WITH SOME KIND OF FOCUS LIGHT..IM NOT SURE WHAT IT WAS CALLED BUT IF U TAKE IT TO THE STORE YOU BROUGHT IT FROM THEY SHOULD BE ABLE TO FIX IT.. :D

I don't know, could be it got exposed to extreme temps or something and got hurt.  You may need a new camera....sorry.  Hope this helps.

by black streaks go up the screen, am I right to deduce that its a video recording from a camcorder?

if your vcam is on tape media, clean the recording & erasing heads - cleaning cassette. when you pop-in a new cassette, fast forward and rewind before recording.
