It is usually only 30 seconds or so but it can be awkward if you can't fill in the blanks. Do most people experience this?

  1. yeah i do

    lol

like you just start thnking about something else,

and then your like, sorry what did you say?

  2. I do this all the time.

I always thought it was just me... I think it's relatively normal and we both just happen to have a short attention span?

Maybe what you want to think about is just so much more interesting than what they're saying? I wouldn't worry about it.

  3. yea i do this, and then i just agree with wat ever they are saying to shut them up and so they don't repeat wat ever they said again lol

maybe its just boredom they u do this for wat they are saying and its really boring so your mind starts to wonder.

  4. Oh h**l yes!  LOL  I do it all the time!  My mind is always on about four different tracks at one time and I manage to tune out people all the time.

It is very normal, it just means you're bored with the subject at hand.  Don't be ashamed of it; just do like I do.

"I'm sorry.  I went to Brazil there for a second.  Would you repeat that?"

    LOL

  5. You are either uninterested in what they are saying or you could have a form of ADD.  Even adults are diagnosed with ADD all the time.

  6. Actually, this is a common symptom of ADHD. I'm not saying that you necessarily have it, but you may want to get checked.
