  1. Alot of the food on the sixfields site is fast food, there are many fine restaurants in town though, good oriental restaurants - Thai, Chinese etc.  There is an excellent Japanese restaurant on Bridge Street, in the teppanyaki they will cook the food at your table.  Not cheap but very entertaining.  Its called 'Sakura'.  I have been twice and would certainly go again.

  2. If you like Chinese food I can recommend Aroma, have eaten there a few times when visiting family. It's a buffet restaurant with a wide selection of usual Chinese dishes plus also some Japanese style food. There is also a hot plate where you chose raw ingredients and the chef will cook them in front of you. Good service and very reasonable prices. It's in the town centre but don't know if that is a walkable distance. Get a cab! :)
