I barely watch T.V anymore because there's usually nothing interesting on anymore. I used to have a 32 inch normal T.V in my room until mom got a HDTV for me. However she's always had a problem with me using it to play games. She has a 32' HDTV in her room and a 56' HDTV in the back room. There's a normal big screen in the basement and a 13' in the kitchen. She tells me to use the one in the back room because she doesn't want to hear me and my friends yelling. But the one in the back is HDTV too. So I'm trying to figure out why she wants to put the 13' normal T.V from the kitchen in my room and place my 26' in the front room! If I get that normal 13', not only will my 360/Wii games look like c**p, but I'll also have to have my face sticking to the screen. Me and my friend! What should I do? She's telling me she doesn't want me to burn out the tube in the T.V in my room, but she wants me to use the one in the back room and the one in the kitchen....help me! I need to understand!

  1. Turon - This is TV ELECTRONICS, not Ann Landers. I don't care and most here don't either! Go away.

Take your family problems, real or made up, to a forum designed for that type of question, like Y/A's "Family & Relationships."

  2. Wow. . . your mom let you have a 26" HDTV in your room?  I have a 19" HDTV in my *living room*, and the biggest TV I've ever had in my bedroom is my current 20" analog set.  I'm sure it sticks out way more than a 13" TV does, but I deal with it.  When I was growing up, I only ever had a 13" TV or smaller in my room.

I suggest you grow up and quit whining about your TV situation, because you're still a LOT better off than most people.

Actually, your Wii games will probably look a lot better on a 13" TV. . . maybe not the 360 since it's actually HD capable. . . but Wii's will only go to 480i or 480p anyhow.  Small screens are very much their friend.

  3. Four TVs?  how many people.  I have 14 things called windows in my house and they are really big and give a great view of something called "outside."  If I go there, there are some great reality things going on.

I highly suggest this.  I suspect your mom does also.
