Son bought his new horse!

Question

I asked a few weeks ago about what you considered a beginner horse was because my son had out grown his lil mare and was selling her to get a bigger horse.... Well this is the new mare. She just turned 4 in June. She is a Reg. Tennessee Walking Horse 15.1 hands Palamino. I wanted to share with you because he is so tickled with her. Both are getting to know each other right now and doing great. Hmmmm... I need a question to ask.....Its been to hot to ride lately here in Southern Indiana how about where you live at?

its been okay in NJ... i just rode about 15 minutes ago... we just have to be careful about not working them too hard and its fine

HOT??? OK I got ya all beat here  in  south west  desert Arizona! and It is HOT, to hot to ride any time of day out here this time of year! so my mare and I have the summer off!

It says all of your pictures have been moved/deleted. She's a really nice looking mare. My aunt had a TWH gelding that looked extremely similar to her. Now if their personalities are as similar as their looks, you have an amazing horse on your hands.

In Pennsylvania, it hasn't been terribly hot. It still alright to ride in during the mornings and evenings.

and by the way... i live in illinois and it is super hot here!  i just got back from a hunter/jumper show and it was 90 when i was showing!!

looks like my palomino iam trying to sell, but i get up really early to ride, like 6 or 7 cause about 11 it gets to hot out, or i ride befor a storm or befor night falls, but the horse looks good

Yes it's beautiful! I hope your son and his horse have a happy life together.

And, it can be very humid here but there isn't more than one or two days of sunshine then it rains. It's just awful for getting hay. It is a wierd summer as it doesn't usually rain. the beaches are gone and we are looking at another harsh Canadian winter. I grew up here, ya get used to it. I hate the sun anyway...flies are bad though...

5 minutes after I wrote this, it started raining. Good thing I rode in the morning and not now.

1, we can't see the photos.

2. it is hot here in texas!! i just rode in a covered arena, and started sweating. remember don't ever ride during the heat of the day unless u have a covered arena!

I just love Walkers. I have a Racking Horse, basically an off-shoot of the big old-fashioned Walkers. They are so personable, affectionate, friendly, and good tempered. You and your son made a great choice; she has an adorable face and a sweet, kind eye.

Been hot as heck here in Virginia; today we have a slight breeze developing so I'm hoping to ride this evening. Heat index was 101 yesterday! The humidity is what kills us here.
